Artist History Sam has performed in the Philadelphia region for many years, traveling a vast musical quest and has arrived at a point wherein he displays a songwriting sensibility that is truly unique and all his own. His music experience began at a young age, studying and playing trumpet, guitar and french horn, which he continued to play throughout college as well as performing with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra. A recipient of a prestige magazine award for "Best Acoustic Guitarist" for two consecutive years, Sam went on to form an 11- piece ensemble aptly named "Green Eggs and Sam". It was during that time he began to pursue the singer-songwriter genre by bringing together the best elements of blues, pop and acoustic rock. The combination of these elements has evolved into a magical performance with the delivery of catchy tunes that are memorable long after listening. |
